You should be able to run/review/write tests for Strimzi project. The tests for operator needs active kube config to running openshift/kubernetes cluster.

1) Get familiar with options on how to set up Openshift

• oc cluster up
• OCP provision jobs

2) Run one single test against your openshift instance

• I suggest to run KafkaST#testSendMessagesPlainAnonymous in strimzi repo

3) Try to write some simple test (we can discuss that when it will be actual)
