    Description

We need an official, documented code example (or archetype, or template, or whatever) that demonstrates how to use the Camel "master" component for applications deployed on OpenShift. There are various ways that the master component can coordinate primary/backup roles but, on OpenShift, I think that only Kubernetes methods can be used.

There are various examples floating around, but they are all either old, or don't cover all the various platforms we support (Karaf, Spring Boot, Quarkus).

Ideally, an example would explain in detail what set-up is needed on OpenShift. For a running pod to be able to configure Kubernetes resources, for the purposes of locking, it probably needs non-default permissions, that will have to be granted explicitly.
