atlasmap not showing all previous block fields

in the case of using a conditional flow block when inside one of the branches I would expect if I use the data mapper to be able to recover all previous possible fields, like it happens when using the data mapper outside this subflow, but this is not the case. Not sure if this is on purpose and if so, why
