Description

Vitess has a quarterly major release cycle (e.g. 3 months between GA 8.0.0 and GA 9.0.0). They're also mainly focusing on the latest version rather than patching the previous version. Vitess Connector still aims to support only the latest GA version of Vitess, which is GA 9.0.0 now.
