It's being removed at the end of December. Teams should deprecate it now.

What needs to happen:

1. State this is being deprecated in the operator + what date its going away
2. Make sure documentation is update to not reference basic auth
3. Make sure to point users to the correct docs for creating service accounts

Other:

We could potentially pull a list of customers that are still using basic auth, so we could pro-actively reach out to them.
