1. 1. Description

Some machines in RDU2 will have to be prepared before they'll be powered off, and shipped to RDU3, to then be racked into existing RDU3 racks (and so then be reinstalled and added back to the existing pool)

Items to prepare:

• clean machines (clean reinstall or delete VMs, etc, to be analyzed on a case-by-case )
• eventually (optional) upgrade underlying firmware for components (perfect time to do that)
• switch mgmt ip (idrac, or else) to new ip range from RDU3
• power machines off
