    Description

      User Story

As a developer using OpenShift Builds
I want to know what actions I can take to improve build performance
      So that builds run faster

      Acceptance Criteria

      • Knowledgebase article or KCS solution describing how users can improve the performance of their builds.

      Notes

"Why is my build slow" is a common support request, especially for users migrating from OCP 3.11 to 4.x. There are several prior BZs which capture reasons why builds can be slow [1][2][3], and steps admins/users can take. Namely:

      1. Remove/disable the Dynatrace OneAgent operator
      2. Upgrade to 4.9 or higher
      3. Increase the memory allocated to the build such that is about equal to the base image size.
