Description

WMCO transfers required binaries and configuration files to each Windows VM that it configures. The payload, as of the time of writing this ticket, is 550MB. Individual files can be as large as 108MB.

By compressing the files we transfer over we can reduce the bandwidth requirement to configure a Windows node. This will have the added benefit of reducing the size of the WMCO container image, reducing pull times, and saving storage in container registries.
