Description of problem:
checked with 4.22.0-0.nightly-2026-01-11-222452 on chrome Version 143.0.7499.169 (Official Build) (64-bit), admin user goes to "Observe - Metrics", search metrics cluster_infrastructure_provider first, it can show results, search another metrics, example prometheus_build_info, the result page is empty, see screen recording(sometimes always see the error for any metrics):

this is a 4.22 regression, no issue with 4.21 and the latest accepted 4.22 build 4.22.0-0.nightly-2026-01-06-164201
