Story

CoreOS is changing the labels used in the images as part of their build process upgrade. To match the new label set the code in the MCO needs to be updated.

This card is about:

• Ensuring the detection of extension images is based entirely on the presence of the io.openshift.os.extensions label and its true value.
• Ensuring the detection of OS images is based entirely on the presence of the one of ostree.bootable or containers.bootc labels and their true value.

Acceptance Criteria

• The MCO properly detects OS and extension images
• There are UTs to cover the change
